Here you can check where your network traffic is usually used. Liuzai once encountered a customer whose mobile phone photo automatic backup used up 4GB in one day, or whose APP automatically updated at night and used 1GB. Understanding where your data is used is the first step to saving data!

How long can 1GB last? Here are some common usage scenarios of mobile phone functions:
- Line text messages: 200,000 messages
- Line video call: 1.5 hours
- Line voice calls: 40 hours hour
- General photo upload/download: 500 photos
- iPhone original photos uploaded/downloaded: 150 photos
- Browsing Instagram/FB news: 8 hours
- Watching videos/ short videos: 2 hours

Tips for saving data traffic
Several ways to save data traffic are listed below. Liuzai recommends the top two: "Turn off automatic APP/system updates" and "Turn off automatic backup." Turn them off before going abroad and turn them back on after returning home. Don't let your data flow away quietly!

To turn off automatic APP/system updates:
iPhone: Settings > App Store, turn off "App Updates"

To turn off automatic backup:
iPhone: Settings > Username > iCloud > Storage / Manage account storage > Backup > Device name, select the app you want to stop automatic backup for

To disable data usage for a specific app:
iPhone: Go to Settings > Mobile Services, scroll down to "Mobile Data", and choose to turn off data usage for specific apps.
